Meet da Blogville Administration

Today, our new Mayorz Murphy & Stanley ask dat we talk about our jobs in dar new Administration.  

Here are my jobs.

Deputy Top Cop

Dis is my primary job and I take it very seriously.   I report to Officer Bites (Top Cop) and provide whatever assistance that he needs.   I'm also Captain of da Rat/Rodent Patrol so let me or Ruby (Rodent Patrol Officer) know if you spy any Tree Rats Bandits dat need to be dealt wiff.

I am very excited dat we have added sooooooo many Junior Officers.   As part of my Deputy Duties, I am responsible for training dem.

Just so you know, we (da Blogville Pawlice Force) is here to protect and serve you, so call us whenever you need help or have extra donuts.    We use da donuts to help catch rodents.   Oh.... Ruby says dat donuts are extra special when dunked in a Margarita.

Attention All Jr Officers:  We will be having training sessions starting in Feb.    Send me you picture so I can include dem in training pics and da class photo (scottierangerATgmail).    I'd like 3 pics from each of you.   One wiff you standing, one wiff you sitting and one wiff you laying down.   My staff will PS dem.

Blogville Choir

In my spare time, I am also a member of da Blogville Choir, under da direction of Susie (Sweet Petunia).

Dis is da first time dat I have been in a choir and I really wanta do a good job so I've been practicing every day.   When I go outside, I run to da fence and start practicing my Doe-woof, Ray-woof, ME-woofs.   Soon, I have da whole neighborhood singing wiff me (except when it is cold outside), den I'm usually singing a solo (me-me-me).

Da painters are coming today and I'm gonna check dar work (twice).   Things just gotta look good for Santa Paws visit.

In other news:   I got me a pressie from Oreo (my Christmas pressie exchange partner).   Yippy!   But.. Mom says dat I can't open it until Christmas (sigh).   AND I also got a package from Chewy.   I just love dis time of year, don't you?

Spector T and I search and search but did not spy any termites.   He just loved spectoring wiff me and said dat he would make me an honorary Junior Spector.   How cool is dat?

He also told Mom dat next time/year, she needs to take a video of us spectoring together and post it on u-tubie cuz he thinks my light pouncing is da funniest thing da he ever saw.

Tomorrow da painters are coming so dat will be exciting.   I'm gonna have to do some serious snoopervising tomorrow.

OMD… my kitchen is all tore-up and someone taped boxes to my floor.

Now when I walk on the boxes I make loud thumping sounds with my paws.  Drat, I can't sneak up on anyone anymore.

And... my Baby Ranger gates are up again.   At least I'm on the other side of the gates dis time.  Mom is sure messing up my space again.  And get dis…. she didn't even ask me if it was okay to make any changes.

Yippy… der are strange men, wiff toys in der bags, in my house.   Maybe dey will play wiff me.  Hello Boys.

Saturday starters

Arrrrrrrrrrrrooooooooo.   It's Saturday!
I love Saturdays but before the fun begins, I have a big job to do.   What's dat?  Well…. I have to wake Mom up and get her out of bed.   Yep…. the lazy bum likes to sleep in on Saturdays so I have to pound on the bed to shake her up.  Ya see…. I'm too short to jump up on the bed, so all I can do is pound my paws on the side of the bed.   Sometimes I wish I was tall.

Promotion to DTC

Did you hear the news?   I got promoted!
I am no longer a Junior Police Officer in Training.   I am NOW Deputy Top Cop (dats DTC to y'all).

Now you are probably wonder if I'm qualified.   Well…. here are my qualifications:

• Served as Junior Police Officer for 1 year
• Provided Security Protection at the Mayoress' Inauguration and at the Mayoress' Ball, Jan 2013
• Lead the campaign to get Sarge released from his unjust incarceration
• Has chased down 87 zillion squirrels
• Eats donuts without gettin crumbs in the beard
• Has cool shades
• Looks good in a Uniform 

 What do ya think girls?   Don't I look GOOD in my uniform?

I am proud to be a member of the Paw Enforcement team and server under Top Cop Officer Sidebite.    He's a grrrrrrrrreat boss.

Update on the 'Sarge-in-the-Doghouse' case

What's up with Sarge?

Hang in there Sarge.

Here's what's go'in on with our campaign to help out our buddy Sarge (Blogville Chief of Police) and my favorite Boss.







According to our fabulous Mayoress Madi:

• There will be a formal hearing on Wednesday, May 15th. 
• Judge Madi (in her judge Wiggy) will preside. 
• She will be deliberating all Day Wedneday....reading all the comments and character witness statements. 
• Witness statements and/or character  statements can be entered as comments on Major Madi's bloggie or on Sarge's cusssins Frankie and Ernie bloggie on Wednesday.   We will needs lots of statements on Wednesday.
• Mayor/Judge Madi will present the findings to Blogville on Thursday. 

The Little Pinches, aka the Crabby Girls, (Shelldon, Beachnut, and Oceana) are keepin Sarge abreast of all the activities and sharing our words of encouragement with him.  Great job Girls.


Bail Bones update

Total count:  45 bones,
1 antler,
several bully sticks,
and some fishy bones.

I wanta thank all of you who dognated to Sarge's Bail.

• Sarge's cusssins Frankie and Ernie dognated 6 bones.
• Daisy, Bella & Roxy dognated 3 (slightly/really chewed) beef knuckle bones.
• Easy dognated 1 bail bone.
• Gizmo is sending two big bones and an antler (only partially chewed).
• Reilly (who is not allowed bones anymore after breaking a tooth on one) dognated 5 bones.
• Some bully sticks (that are just chewed a little on the end) were send by Stella Rose.
• Goose dognated 17 bones but they are buried in the back yard so it may take a little time to find them and dig them up.
• Misaki will also donate a few bail bones for Sarge.
• Ruby (Blogville's Squirrel Patrol Officer) dognated 5 bones.
• Casey (a member of Mayoress Madi's cabinet and a dedicated rescue worker) dognated a MASSIVE rawhide bone.
• The Crabby Girls (Shelldon, Beachnut, Oceana) gave us some leftover fish bones.
• Sheba has no bones to dognate, but will bake a cake with a saw blade in it to help free Sarge.
• Popie Kyla is willing to do a curse (if needed).

If we don't need all the bail bones…. I'll just have to think of somethin else to do with all those yummy bones (lickin my chops).


Now dis is Really Important cuz we do not want those Evil Squirrels to come back and raise havoc on Blogville.

What a Great Pawty!

This was the best Pawty ever !!!!
Here are some of the highlights….

I got to fly in our Official Blogville Hel-i-Copter with Office Bites, Susie, and our new Mayor.   Being kinda short I really like'd lookin down on everyone.   The only thing that I didn't like was the sound.   It is LOUD and I really wanted to chat with our Mayoress Madi.  I just could not find the volume control.

Isn't our new Major just purrrrrrrrrrfect?   Look at her beautiful fur coat.   And she even wore a crown.  Wow.   It was all shiney and sparkly.

I, on the other hand, looked rather dash'n (if I do say so) for the Mayor's Inauguration Ball.

I must admit that I was kinda bored at the actual swearing in ceremony, but the Ball…… that's my kinda fun!




I had lots of fun with Officer Bites, Susie, and Goose.   And… I was on my best behavior, except for when I snatched some fries off of Sarge's plate when he wasn't looking.   I hope I don't get fired (cuz he is my Big Bossman).

Now let's talk food, cuz that's all you really wanta hear anyways.   Simply Purrrrrrrrrfection!    That Sasha pup can really cook !!!!   She is sooooooooo much better than Mom (but don't tell her).

I can't believe I ate the whole thing.

It was a Pawsome good weekend and I know Madi will be a purrrrrrrrrfect Mayor.

I'm kinda tired after all that activity so I'm gonna take a nap now.  Chow for now.

Peeeeees.  I did get to dance with the Mayor, and managed to NOT step on her delicate yet dangerous paws.   I didn't want to arrest myself for hurting the Mayor.

Security Detail for the Blogville Mayor

Today is the day I get to start on my 1st Official assignment.   I can't wait for Officer SideBites and Susie to arrive.  They are picking me up and we are all going to our new Blogville Mayoral Inauguration and then to the Mayor's Ball.   I'm part of the security detail (with Officer Bites) and I'll be escorting Susie to the Ball.   Officer Bites will be escorting our new Mayor Madi.

I've got my travel bag packed and I'm ready to roll.

Is that them over there?
Nope.  Not them.
Sigh.

I hope they come soon.
Hummmm.  I'm getting kinda hungry.

Maybe Mom packed me some snacks.

No snacks… but I found my badge.
