Pees...... Mom yaptop froze up during a OS update and she turned it into a brick.   She pulled out lots of her hair and then took it to the Computer Warriors.    She now has it back and can get back on da internet, but her Photoshop App and Bridge is gone.   Sigh!   She'll have to spend like 87 hrs re-installing dem so she can get back to PS my pics for me.   Dis one was before da brick disaster.   Fortunately she did not lose and data so my pics are all still around.

We're in catch-up mode now (reading all of your bloggies).

Brain Games

Some of y'all have some really cool game toys so Mom decided to go out and get one for me.

She put cheerios or some of my kibble in the game and I get to Search and Devour.   Hey.... I am a Deputy Top Cop and teach junior officer in searching and detecting so dis should be EASY.

Dis game is Fun and Tasty!

Me and da Dog Whisperer

We recently had a couple of intruders.   Yep.... Mom's brother Bob and his wife stopped by after dey had been at the beach for a week.   Dey were on dar way back home to da big city and stopped in to visit us (since dey were in our hood).

When I met dem, I didn't let Bob pet me.   He was not happy.   Ya see, he fancies himself as da Dog Whisper.    Mom told him dat I am a bit wary of men and dat it would take a LONG time for me to make nice wiff him.

Whata ya want?

Now, Bob's wife said that ALL Dogs just love Bob and he would have me eating out of his hand in no time.   (Mom just laughed.)

I wasn't having any of dis and every time Bob tried to pet me, I ran away to my safe place (under da foodable table).

Secret Weapon of da Dog Whisperer

Den "Bob Whisperer" ask Mom to give him a spoon wiff his secret weapon on it.   He said dat NO dog could resist it/him.

(Mom just laughed again.)

"Ranger.... want some Peanut Butter?"

NO.   BACK OFF!

And... dat's how I put "Bob da Dog Whisperer" in his place.   

Bob da Dog Whisperer:  0   

Ranger:  1

All I can say is dat if he was a TRUE Dog Whisperer, he would have known dat Scotties are not your average dog.

Frustrated Friday

Today is August 14th and dis is only my 4th postie for da month.   Can you believe dat?

My assistant (aka Mom), has been a real slacker and claims dat she has just been super-dupper busy.  

So sorry dat I haven't been around to visit your bloggies.

I claim "bull(poopie)".

It's not like we don't have anything to tell you about like

• how I put da "dog whisper" in his place
• toy testers
• fur stealers
• da tall ship

Maybe I need to fire her and get me a new assistant (or at least threaten to do so).

Now I must admit dat she does play wiff me and we still go on walks (when it is not too too hot) but my yaptop time has been seriously lacking.

Just so you know, I had a serious talk wiff her today and she promises to be a better assistant.  
I'm looking forward to catch'n up wiff all of you and read'n about all your latest adventures.

Now I know y'all all know da Scottie Our Property Rules but if ya need a refresher... here they are:

1. Because I like it, it's mine.
2. Because it's in my mouth, it's mine.
3. Because I had it a little while ago, it's mine.
4. Because I can take it from you, it's mine.
5. Because it's mine, it must never be yours.
6. Because it just looks like mine, it's mine.
7. Because I saw it first, it's mine.
8. Because you are playing with something else and put it down, it's mine.
9. Because I am chewing something up, all da pieces are mine.
10. Because it used to be yours, get over it.
11. Because it's broken, it's yours.

I've decided to one.
12. Because I'm laying on it, it's mine.

So..... why did I add dis rule?
Well, today Mom got out her latest charity quilt and laid it on da creamy color loveseat (dat I'm not allowed on) so she could photograph it before donating it.

I jumped right up and laid down on it.

What?    You want me to get off of your new charity quilt?

Sorry Mom.

Sisters Day

According to da Wacky Holidays, today is Sisters Day.

Dis is me wiff my sister Bea.

She is shorter dan me, butt don't be mislead by her size and dat smile.   She can hold her own with da best of dem.

I think dat we should all celebrate our sisters  wiff an Ice Cream Sandwich (well... it is National Ice Cream Sandwich Day too).

Oops.....  sorry about dat...
but me and sis had to sort out who gets dar Ice Cream first.
