Bad pressies

I'm back!   Did you miss me?

It's about time you picked me up.
Are we going home now?
Did you bring me anything?

Well, last week, Mom went to the mountains with Aunty D and I went to my favorite doggie camp.

Yep… you heard dat right.  They went on a road trip without me.

Now… don't get me wrong… I really like doggie camp cuz I gets to play wiff all my doggie friends but I think I would have like the mountain too.  I mean… I am a good traveler and love to ride in the car.   So I don't understand why dey didn't take me along.

I love me a good box to open.

I hope it's not breakable.

I can't wait to see what's inside.

Grrrrrrrrrrrr….  I can't get it open.

A little help here would be good.

So…. what did She bring me back from the mountains?

A noisy scottie thingy dat hangs on a pole and makes music.

So I ask you… what fun is dat?   I watched is blow around in the wind for awhile but then I got bored.   Next time she goes away… I'm gonna insist dat she brings me back a new ball.

Flashback Fridays - A little black blob

Today I have some of my very first baby photos.   I was a just wee little newborn pup.  Oh… and I was hungary.

Dis is me and mom (Scarlett).
I think I have her eyes. 

Me and my 2 brothers and 5 sisters did a lot of snuggling back then and sometimes we even piled on top of each other.

So… have you figured out which one I am?

I'm the little black one.  Hehehe.

Pet Postcard for Houston

Look what my Mom made.

They are pet postcards made of fabric and I was her inspiration.   Aren't they pawsome?

For the record…
I do not steal sneakers.

They are going to be included in a really BIG exhibit at the Houston Texas Quilt Show.
 

Attendees at the show can purchase dem and all the money raised goes to Friends for Life, Houston’s premiere no-kill animal shelter.

Ahoy matey(s).

I read on my buddy Sammy's bloggie dat today is Bark Like a Pirate day, so I'm putting on my best pirate today.

Blimey!   There's a stinkin bird on my hat.
Maybe I should make him walk the plank.

Has anyone seen my squiffy wench Mollie?    I'm sure she is aboard someplace searchin for my loot and rum.

Goodbye vacationers

Yippy!  All the vacationers are gone and I have my beach back.

Another beautiful morning for a walk on the beach.

Look what I found, Mom.
Can I take it home for Aunty D?

M:  No babe.   It's part of the sea oats.   How about we leave it for the birds?   Let's see what else we can find.

Oh… oh… look what's up ahead.    Let go faster.   It's Mr. Fisherman and Oreo.   Oreo was a big 2 yrs old dog and we played for a bit.
 
After our walk… I decide to just chill-out on the beach and enjoy the peace.

Yo Mom….. I spy a dolpin over there.   Can you see him?
I think it's Flipper.

I had a grrrrrrreat time but on the way home, Mom made a surprise stop.

Yikes !!!!!

Yep… I got a bath.    What a way to ruin an perfect morning.

When I was a wee little laddie (last year) I used to help Mom with all the yard work.

I like dis branch…. I'm gonna keep it and run off wiff it.
Catch me, catch me... Mom.       Let play… I'm tired of all this yard work.

I just love to be chased.  Even now (dat I'm a big boy).

Too easy.  I'm a beach bum.
I live on the NC coast so I get to go often.   Nothing like a good roll in the sand. 

(We have gators in some of our parks so Mom doesn't like to take me there.)

Tree Monkey Invasion

OMD…. my yard has been invaded with orange Tree Monkeys!

There's one.

There is another one.
Wow… he is a really good climber. 

Look at his big cutting machine. 

They are making BIG noise and are cuttin down trees.

Wait… wait… dat is my favorite peeing tree.

Mom says the trees were too close to the house.  The tree roots were growing right at our paver patio and toward the house foundation.   And.. she said the limbs were spanning over our roof.

Oh.     Ya know… now dat I think about it, dos are the same trees dat the squirrels use to escape me… and then they run along the roof and jump into other trees.   Hummmmmmmmm….. maybe I'll be able to catch me a squirrel now cuz their escape trees will be gone.  Cool.

Yo Mom… how about filling up the bird feeder with some of dat squirrel bait.   I need to go catch me a squirrel.

Monday morning blues

Well… I'm back home after my BIG DATE DAY with Mollie.   I had the best time.   She is one crazy and fun girl.   Dat's why I love her.

I miss ya Mollie.

Thank you Sarge for hosting this superb event.   We all had a blast and lots of laughs reading about everyones dates.

Da BIG Date

I am soooooooo excited that Sarge is hosting Date Day/Night today.

My date is wiff my very best girlfriend Mollie but you probably already knew dat.
I'm so excited to see Mollie and she really needs a fun date.  She's been workin too much with all her fund raising and shop work.   It's time for her to let the fur fly and have some fun.

So….. let's get dis BIG DATE started.

First I haves to teleport over to the UK to pick up Mollie.

I love my teleporting tunnel.   Next stop… Mollie house.

WOW.

I snagged us a scooter and off we went to see the sights.

We saw a castle.

And some really OLD stuff.

We had such a great time and I loved buzzing round on our shinny blue scooter.

At the Trevi Fountain… we went skinny dippin (Mollie's idea).    She is a really good swimmer.

We jumped out of the water, hopped on our scooter and sped away.

Mollie wanted to fit in a little bit of shopping so we cruised the shopping district.  She saw this beautiful scarf in a shop window and really wanted to try it on.   She looked so pretty in it, I just had to buy it for her.

I got me a hat too.   Now we both look like real fashion forward Italians (hehehe).

Next stop… LUNCH !

I spotted a nice little outdoor cafe so we parked our scooter and grabbed a table.
