Pin-up Pup

I just ran over to Heart Like a Dog to see if I gets to be a pin-up-pup on their doggie calendar.  

Dis is what I learned.
  •  I gots me 94 Voties!    Yip, Yip, Yippy!    Thank you for all your votes.
  • Oh… but I'm not gonna be a Pin-up Pup.  (sigh)
  • I didn't get enough votes to make it into the top 12.  
  • Yep…. I was #13.  Close but no cigar.  Hey… isn't 13 a lucky number?
Mom says dat it's 'All Good' cuz She and Aunty D loves me and thinks I'm a cutie.   And…. Mollie (my sexy girlfriend) thinks I'm a real HOTTY.  Cool huh?   Did I tell you dat Mollie was a pin-up gal (last year)?   Dats my girl!
  
Anyways, I decided dat I don't need to enter anymore popularity contest.  I already know dat I'm a cutie pie and Mom's really not too good at beggin for votes.  I don't know what her problem is.  I do it all the time for treats!   Hummmmm… I could sure use a treat right now.  After I finish dis postie, I'm going show Mom how it's done.

Arrrrrrrrroooooo.   I am Jump, Jump, Jumpin-for-Joy dat soooooooo many of my closest furfriends are gonna be on the calendar and all the money raised will go into Benny's medical fundy.   

February – Wrigs – Life with Wrigs

March – Reilly and Denny – The Cowspotdogs

April – Susie “Sweet Petunia” – The Mad Scots

December – Benny and Lily – Two French Bulldogs

Ya know…. Mom's right… it's 'All Good' and I can't wait to get me one of dem calendars.   Maybe I can get me a pawograph'd copy.  Now dat would be really cool.

    Ranger! Dude! I can't believe you didn't make it to calendar-city - we voted for you but know what? You're right! You're a cutie and we all know that already AND indeed #13 is TOTALLY lucky.....I just bet you can get a pawtographed copy of that calendar when it comes out - who could look at that face and NOT give you an autographed copy huh??? Huh????

    I am sorry you did not win. I have two IP addresses and I kept voting for all three of the scots. Even the last day when I saw Susie was in and Dougall was so far out, I shot both of my votes your way Ranger. Don't be discouraged and enter again next year.     Don't be too hard on your mom, Ranger. My mommy is constantly telling me, "Miss Lee, Ladies don't beg." I'm sure your mom's mommy told her the same thing when she was growing up! Anyway, I don't see why we just can't add a 13th month to 2014--kind of like a Leap Month. :)
