   I just love da beach and went on a family vacay to da  NC Coast.   

   What do I love doing at the beach?   So glad you asked....

 

I love da smells at da beach.  You can dig in da sand to get a better wiff or simply check out holes dat others have dug.   As I'm a bit up-dar in years.... I prefer to jus check out the holes dat others have dug.  

 

Sniff, sniff.... I smell crab.   

Running on da beach is such fun. 
I make sure to stop and look back to make sure Mom is still following me.

Wet paws....... so cool.

Looking forward to my next beach vacay and hope y'all had a grrrrrrrrreat summer.

I got lots of grey furs and I'm missing some teeth but Mom thinks I'm still handsome.

Sea Oats

Sea Oats are tall subtropical grasses that are important components of coastal sand dune and beach plant communities in the southeastern United States.

I just love da beach.

Da Day after Irma

Arrrrroooooo!  Irma is gone.

We got about 4"s of rain and wind, but dat's all.   I had wet paws and didn't like going outside in all da wind and rain but by da afternoon, it was sunny.  We were lucky and I'm still sending up prayers for all dos affected by Irma and Harvey.





Since it was so sunny, Mom and Auntie D decided it was a good day for a ride in da car.   When they asked me if I wanted to go, I jumped at the chance.   Ya see, I LOVE going for rides in da car and couldn't wait to see where we are going.

Sometimes, I try to get into da front seat but Mom says dat I can't drive cuz my paws will not reach da petals.   Drat.

OMD...... we went to my all time favorite place!
We went to da BEACH!!!

Funny how it is always a beautiful day
after a storm.

I made lots of new friends at da beach.
All da peeps think I'm handsome.
Trips to da beach is always an ego booster for me.

Pees.... we are still keepin' and eye on Hurricane Jose but Mom's insurance guy says dat it won't be a problem.   "Trump will not let him into da country wiffout da proper papers and dos have blown away".

Da French Invasion - Part 3

Being da good Host dat I am, I decided to take Messi to my favorite place.   You probably already guessed.

I introduced him to da beach.

Ya see, being a city boy, he has never been to da beach so I had to re-assure him dat it was loads of fun.

He put his paws in da ocean and just loved it!

Messi had such da grrrrrreat time dat he even asked his peeps if dey would let him visit me again.  He want to try his paws at surf'in next time.

Messi had to fly back to dat big city (sigh).  I will miss my little sweet frenchie furfriend.  Au Revoir Messi!


Oh, oh, oh....  I almost forgot dat tonight is New Year's Eve.  I hope you have fun pawtying wiff all of your friends.

Red creatures from da Ocean

I love it when Aunty D's son, Eric comes to visit me.   He is really cool and we always have fun together.

He took me on a walk on da beach and you'll never believe what we found.

It is a RED fishy of some kind and it just floated up on da beach in front of us.

Oh.... Eric says dat he knows what it is.

You know da Scottie rules:  It's all MINE now.

Time to bury it so no one steals it.

You see... dar are a lot of beach bums here.   No... not Eric, he's not a bum.

Flashback Friday - Let's warm it up

Wiff all da snow and cold weather dat everyone is gettin, I thought I'd share some warm memories wiff you.     Think about a warm evening at da beach.   Now, doesn't dat warm your heart?

Here are a couple of pics from my very 1st trip to the beach.

I was fascinated wiff da crashing waves and enjoyed watching all da peeps walkin by.

Diggin in da sand was pawsome and all da smells buried in da sand were AAAAA-mazing.   I was one happy little beach bum.

Suddenly, I heard da best sound ever.

Arrrrrrrrrooooooo…. Mom broke out da foodables.

Yo Mom…. got a snack for me?

Hey…. I really don't mind eating a little sand wiff my dinner.   It's just a little fiber.  Right?

Surf's Up !!

Yippy!  Dis past weekend, I got to go to da beach.   
Mom doesn't take me to da beach in da summertime cuz it is too hot and dare are way too many tourist.   I am soooooooo happy dat summertime is gone.

Now, I usually just walk wiff Mom & Aunty D on da beach and socialize wiff other furfriends dat I meet on da beach.  I also like to chase birds dat run on da sand. No… I haven't caught any yet.  And… sometimes I even put my paws in da water but today was different.

Hummmm…. should I go into da water?

So far, so good.

Maybe dis isn't such a good idea.
No…. I'm gonna be brave and jump in.

Yikes…. it is gettin deep.
OMD…. I see a big wave comin…..

I'm out of here.

I jumped in & out of da water and in & out again and again.   I had a blast.

What can I say….. Life is Good at da Beach.
