Da Easter Bonnet Parade in NYC

Aunty D went to the NYC Easter Bonnet Parade yesterday and saw pups & a cat dressed in dar finest Easter Bonnets.   Da parade was on 5th Ave and anyone can join in.  Here are some pics from da parade.

Looky, looky…. da Easter Bunny left me a really big basket full of carrots, candy, and a new frisbee.

Oh….. and one of my neighborhood bunnies (dat I met on my Easter Bunny hunt) stopped over to play wiff me and celebrate Easter.   I hope y'all found your easter basket.

I'm gonna take a nap now, in my new basket bed.    I've had a very busy week.

I think dat da Easter Bunny helpers left dem for me.

You know how Santa has elves… well I just discovered dat the EB has Polka Dot bunny helpers.   Dar job is to decorate all the Easter eggs.

I'm still on the hunt for da real Easter Bunny and not having much luck.

Da clock is tickin and I'm running out of  time so I think dat it was time  to change my tactics.  

Now I'm in disguise.

I figure dat maybe the Easter Bunny (EB) is afraid of dogs so if I look like a friendly bunny, he'll come out and talk to me.   Oh, oh… maybe he'll even play wiff me.   We could play eggball.

In Search of the EB

Have you heard?  Oh my… dis is really Big News.

There is a magical bunny dat hops around and brings everybody candy and eggs.    Isn't dat just super duper pawsome?   Oh.. oh.. oh..  and his name is Easter Bunny.

So now I gots me a new mission.

Da Mission:   To search out and meet da Easter Bunny.

I'm on alert now and I'm gonna keep my ears up as I search out the Bunny on my walk-a-bouts.  I just know dat I'll find him in my hood.

Look, look… over dar.  Maybe dat's him.  Come on Mom, we gotta cross da street.   Move-it Mom!  I don't wanta lose him.

Now I don't wear a bra….  well… to be honest…. I did wear one ONCE.  And dat was because I won it in an auction and it was Mollie's bra.
