Arrrrrrrrrrrgh….All Patched Up

** Mischief Monday **
Warning… dis post is disturbing and if you have a weak stomach (like ME) you better skip it.

Oh Nooooooooooo…. the dreaded torture table.
What happened?
Well, yesterday I was playing with my pal Snoopy and we had a little accident.  Ok… maybe we were playing a little too ruff.

Anyways… we had to go to dee Emergency Dogster's office.
Some of our friends were hanging around and kept us company
while we waited for the Dogster.

OMD... my personal Dogster was on Duty at the Emergency & Trauma Hospital.   I was so happy to see her cuz I knew she would take good care of us.
Why can't dey put a nice blankie or towel on the table before I get up on it?
Aaaaaaa….. ya see, Snoopy loss his eye.
Where did it go?
Well…. I kinda, accidentally swallowed it.
Yikes…. I'm naked !!!
Yep…. it's in my tummy (along with my breakfast).

So… my Dogster gave me a shot dat made me sicky to the stomach and den I …. well you know.

Anyways…. I returned his eye.
Snoopy's eye.

And the Dogster patched Snoopy up.
He thinks he looks really cool now and can't
wait to take on the Red Baron again.

The Dogster gave me some fluids after I returned Snoopy's eye.

When we got home, I was kinda groggy and played couch bed potato (like the Dogster ordered) and watched TV.

I hope you had a better Sunday dan I had.

Mom says dat Snoopy has to go home tomorrow.  He is running up the bills ($325.75 for the Emergancy Dogster visit today) and you know dat she is does not like to give up the green papers.

Wags,
    Ranger

Ps.   My tummy is all better now and Snoopy took off at 1st light today.  Bye buddy.

  1. You gotta watch those fluff buddies and their parts.....sounds like snoopy was a kids toy not a puppets cause puppets toys don't have plastic eyes. We sure hope your tummy is feeling better

  3. Ranger, hope you didn't take it out on Snoopy that you didn't see the Great Pumpkin in the Pumpkin Patch on Halloween. In any case, hope you feel better and hope Snoopy gets better too.

  5. We are glad you're okay, Ranger, and that the doc was able to patch up Snoopy. Glad your mom noticed what happened and got you to the clinic right away. Our dog, Andi, loved to pluck the eyeballs off her toys. Fortunately, she never swallowed them. :-)

  6. Oh no! Poor Ranger and poor Snoopy. I guess my mischief of spewing yarn all over the house was pretty mild by comparison. It could have been worse if I ate the yarn I guess. Hope you feel better soon Ranger.

  7. Ranger and Snoopy what a terrible thing to happen to both of you. Glad you were able to upchuck Snoopy's eye. Last Christmas I swallowed part of a rubber toy, we had to watch it go all around my intestines finally it came out with much effort. Your insides look as nice as your outsides.

  13. Wow that was really an adventure of a scottie-pup. I'm glad the eye came back via emergency exit and you are well. But at least you can ask Snoopy now if your stomach is ok, because he threw a look on it. I hope you can enjoy food and treats today and you feel better. As I swallowed sponge bob once, we had to pay the full amount too, including two vets although Bob took the emergency exit already in the car on the way to the vet.

  22. We are sorry to hear about your accident. We are glad you are doing better. Once our Lady's cat ate a magnet and that cost her $1000 to get it removed. You were lucky! Take care and don't eat any more eyes! Lee and Phod

  30. Uhoh.....not everyone can claim they swallowed Snoopy's eyeball Ranger - this is your new claim to fame! He looks rather handsome though with his eyepatch. Nice of you to "return" (eek) his eye though even if you had to hork it up which is NEVER fun. Rest....relax....and no more eyeball eating for you buddy!
