It's Raining White

Do I need to put on my coat?

Wow.....   didn't I see some daffies last week?     What's wiff all dis white stuff?
 
Ya see, we live in da south (well maybe it's da north - NC) and at da coast.   We rarely see dis white stuff.

Now I'm not really sure what to do wiff it?   What do you like to do in da snow?

It's melting

Sunny skys, the temp reached 52 degrees and its all melting.
The good news is dat I got to go on a long walk today to check out the hood.

Dis is all dat's left.  Sigh.

Cloudy wiff no chance of a walk-about ..AND.. Wacky Holidays

Da day after our Icy Snow Event.

• 1" of ice covers everything.
• Children are ice skating on the street.
• Temps in the 20s.  Brrrrrrrrrr.
• Cloudy skies.
• I only get to play outside for 8-10 mins at a time.

Mom's a wimp.  Yep…. I said it…. Mom's a wimp.

I wanta go for a walk-about and check out the hood but She says it is too dangerous.  Dangerous?

• Does She think She is going to get attacked by a bear?    Doesn't she know dat I will protect Her? 
• Is She afraid of falling?    Well I guess She does have a point dare.   She only has 2 feet so She's not as sure footed like me.

Tomorrow da sun is supposed to come out and it is supposed to be high of 50 degrees.   Oh Noooooooooooooo!   All my icy snow will be gone.     Say it isn't so.

Snow in the Forecast

OMD.   I'm back one day from warm and sunny Australia and we get a winter blast of snow/ice in the forecast.

It's a good thing dat Mom bought me a new plaid coat while I was on my mini vacation.

How do I look?

Now…. we live on the coast in North Carolina and rarely get snow.   For dat matter, I have never played in the snow.   I did see a few flakes last year but dat's it.   I can't wait to see dat snow and play in it.

Mom:  No Ranger.. that's a pile of sand.
Ranger:   Can I play in it?
Mom:  No….. it belongs to the workmen who are building da house behind us.
Ranger:   But you let me play in the sand at the beach, so why can't I play in it?
Mom:   We'll play in the snow when it comes later today.   Okay?
Ranger:  Okay.  (hummm…. she thinks dat I didn't notice dat she didn't really answer my question.)

Sled Day

YIPPY !!!! 
My boss Sarge, is hosting a Sledding pawty today.

I've never seen snow before nor gone sledding, and as you can imagine, I am EXCITED.
Sarge gave me this super cool Flying saucer.   I'm going to call it "greeny".

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
Greeny and me can go really really ffffffffffast.

I am having the bestest time ever… zooming down the hill.   I even passed up Officer Sidebites & Susie on the slope.   Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee !!!

Sometimes I spin around and go backwards down the hill and can see all the sledder that are following me.   Catch-me if you can!   hehehehe

So many sled'rrrrrrs… so much fun.   I can't find my girlfriend Mollie.   She must is out here somewhere or maybe she is in her snow bunny suit in the lodge having a hot toddy. There is Benny and Lily.   Maybe if I lean forward I can go really fast and pass them.   Wooh… that was close.

I sure hope I don't bump into any of my furfriends.   Oh Noooooooooo.

Why didn't ANYone tell me that SNOW is coooooooold.   My little paws are freezing.
