Mail for ME?

YIPPY !!!   I just love gettin packages in da mail.  

It is even more special when it's from my scottish cousin Oz.

I couldn't wait to open it.

OMD…. you'll never guess what I got.

I got me a very special note from Oz and somethin real yummy.

So, why did I get dis pressie?   Well…. I won Oz's Limerick Day Contest.  In case you missed it…. dis was my limerick:

Dare was a sweet Scot who went to camp

He riped out his toenail by acci-dant

His heart raced when his paw was hurt

Went to da dogster to stop da blood spurt

He handled it all like a real champ

And now for the yummy part of my prize.

Royal Mail

Everyone got mail today.   Even ME.   Yippy!

Ooooh…. it was sent Air Mail by Royal Mail.
And it has a Queen on the Stamp!

It came all the way from the UK.

Holiday Party

Arrroooooooooo!   I got more MAIL !!!

My mail lady delivered it on Saturday and it came in a cool envelop.     Guess what?   It was from Bennie and Lily (again).    Mom let me open it and I'm soooooooo glad she did cuz, I got to wear it to the party.     Thank you Bennie and Lily.  You guys are soooooooooo pawsome!

What party you ask?

Mom and Aunty D had a big Christmas party at our house yesterday.   They invited all their quilting friends and I got to make lots of new friends.   I also got to say hello to Wally's mom and to Bailey & Kayla mom.   Bailey & Kayla's mom even brought me a present from the the Office Pups.

Yippy!   There are treats down there.
Now if only I can get to the treats.

Maybe if I tilt the bag up.. the treats will
roll down and drop into my mouth.

Wowwwwww.   That was challenging but I finally got the yummy treats!   Thank you Office Pups.

I really like parties.   Everyone was so nice to me and I got to run around and practice my snatching technique.   I think I may need a lot more practice as I was not too successful at begg'n for scraps.   Oh well…. I still got to meet lots of really nice humans.   Next time I think Mom should invite my BPP furfriends.   That would be really, really fun.

Mom still hasn't let me open the big package from Benny and Lily.   I guess I'll just have to wait until Christmas.

Going Postal

I'm not sure about this Christmas Holiday.   It is a lot of work!   Boxing up all our packages and then addressing them takes a lot of time.    And… the tape…. tastes yucky.  Where's the fun in that? 

pewwww…. I'm exhausted.

What was that?  Oh... we're not done yet?   But I wanta go outside to play with my big blue ball.
So… we gathered up all the packages and took them to the Post Office.   Now were talking!!!   I like riding in the zoom-zoom car.   I think I'll let Mom drive so I can rest up.

Yippy!!  All done… I mailed out my Secret Santapaws gift.   I bet you don't know who's name I got.   Shhhhh… it's a secret!

Mom says that now I have to keep a lookout for the postman cuz he'll be bring'n me a box too.   Cool.    I think I'm getting the hang of this.   I send a package and then I get one in the mail.   Hummmmm…. maybe we should send out some more packages!

Mom… can we go check out the mailbox now to see if I got anything?
When I was a little laddie, I used to sit inside the mailbox to wait for the mailman.

He's late today!

I can't fit in it anymore so I have to watch out the window and then let Mom know when he there.

Peeees.   Last night we watched the "Santa Paws 2 -the Santa Pups" DVD that I won.   Here's my review:

 How can you not love 4 cute white puppies?  And…… they got to ride in Santa's sled.   Pawsome!    I wanta go for a ride in it too.  I should have talked to Santa about that.   It looks like more fun than our zoom-zoom car.

Shred-It

Did I ever tell you how much I like going in the zoom zoom car?

Well, today Mom and I went for a ride.

Lots and lots of papers.

First she loaded up the car with  brown bags and boxes full of paper.

Hummmmmm.   What's that all about.

Well, we cruised for awhile and then pulled into a bank parking lot that had a BIG truck there.  I met a nice man there and he took all our papers and loaded them into a BIG truck that made all sorts of loud cutting noise.

I hope he doesn't put me in the Big Truck.    I'm trying to put my brave face on.  Is it working?
Maybe if I don't make any eye contact, he will not know that I'm a bit nervous.

Hey Mom…. is it time to go home now?

I don't know why she just didn't ask me to shred the paper.   I'm real good at tearing things up.

I'm going to be Mom's new shredding machine.

"I Got Mail"

Today when I looked in the mailbox, I saw an envelop with my name on it.

Yippy !!!!    I Got Mail !!!!

Mom gets mail all the time but this is my 1st letter.    So, when Mom handed me my letter, I grabbed it and ran into the living-room with it.

I'm gonna rip it open.

I had lots of fun ripping my letter open.  

Mom… can you tell me what it says?

Yippy!!!   It is from Barb.   She read my blog and saw that I was under the weather last week.  She sent  me a Get Well note.   Sweeeeeeeeeet.    Barb is a real tail-waggler.   I can't wait to meet her.

Paper.. yum.  I love anything I can tear up.

   

I JUST LOVE MAIL !!!!   

I heard on the talk box, that a very tallented lady named Nora also liked getting mail. 

I guess I'll have to learn how to read now.   So much to learn.

Your best behaved puppy

Look-out for the black box!

For the past 2 days, I have been taking Mom on a short walk to the black box.    I take my leash in my mouth and drag it on the ground and Mom follows me.

Come on Mom!   This way.

Sometime when I grab my leash, I come up with some grass at the same time.  I have a big mouth and can hold a lot of stuff in it.

When we reach the black box with the red flag, I look in to see if there is anything good inside.  

Nothing.

Maybe the lady in the car with the blinking light on top did not come to our house today.    

I'll keep a look out for her.
