Stormtracker - Florence (Tuesday Update)

OMD...... I only got a little space.
I usually get the entire backseat.
Evacuation
Dis morning Mom and Aunty D loaded up our evac-o-car.   Dey kept going in and out of da house and I was a bit worried dat they might not have room for me, but they finally took my bed out and lifted me into the car.

We headed out of town at first light and arrived at Uncle Jim's house by 10am.  He doesn't live dat far from us, but at least it is not Wilmington, NC.

Upon arrival, I had to explore/inspect the entire place.   Arrrrrrrooooo... Uncle Jim has a HUGE big screen TV.   Dis vacay is going to be pawsome!

And now for the latest update on Florence.    Tuesday evening - Florence is heading directly for my house and is forecast to be a Cat 3 when it landfalls.   Den it will sit over us and slowly move down toward Myrtle Beach.  Dis is not a good scenario.   High winds and lots of flooding rain for an extended period of time.   Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.   I don't know about you, but I don't really like wet paws.   Y'all stay safe.

Stay tuned for further updates.

Dis is Ranger, your WBLOGville Stormtrack Weather Dog.

 Wags,
             Ranger

  3. If where you are at looks to become unsafe, you are always welcome to shelter with us in Chicago. We have a large fenced yard for Ranger. Just drop a message and I'll send directions and a phone number. Child free household, one elderly low key labrador.

  5. You guys stay safe! You are always welcome here in CA! Though, that would be one helluva trip, and you never knows when a wildfire is gonna break out! JK, we're not in any hot zone! I gots lots of margaritas and wildlife galore to chase and hunt! I saw a possum and a raccoon and roof rats and of course the all fun tree rat! Lets me know if you need me to fix up the tunnel. Okays, ya'll stay safe and dry (no, no doggie likes wet paws...that's just KERAZY!), and keep us updated!

  11. Glad you did the evac thing for I don't think the Chewy Box would hold up in water. Seriously we are praying your home stays safe and you return to find the neighborhood has stood up to the horrid storm.
