Still in the Dog House

Yep… I'm still in the dog house.  Now what, you ask?

Well… here's my story.

It was raining most of the day and you know what that means….. DIGG'N TIME.

I love it when that ground is all soft and muddy.   So I did me some gardening.  I dug up two newly planet flower plants, one gardenia shrub, and just for good measure… I dug me one nice hole in the lawn.    It was a blast!

Unfortunately…. Mom was not pleased.   She didn't even take photos of my all my hardy work.    So I'm still in the dog house and now she is limiting my unsupervised outdoor play time.
Hey… Mom needs to get out more anyways….so I think I did a good job… don't ya think?    I just hope the tree rats don't take over.

Wags,
    'clever little' Ranger

Pees…. I heard Aunty D ask Mom if there was a "juvi for dogs".   What's that about?    Maybe I went to far.

  1. Poor Ranger....in the dog house after working SOOOOO hard to get the little round thing out of the chair leg! Some people just don't appreciate our cleverness do they?!?!?! Juvi is something you DO NOT want to get involved in Ranger...better at least PRETEND to be good until she forgets that "juvi" word!

  7. Oh Ranger, I think we all can say, "Been there, Done that"
Yah our moms need to lighten up a bit, mine is the same way, I mean she goes biserk when Addi digs up the rose bushes, ...its only a bush geeessss.

Show her your sweet face and that will melt her heart, works everytime for me. Give her a few sweet licks for good measure and you got her whipped!!

  12. Me and Nellie know all about digging. We are very good at it, but for some reason mummy really doesn't appreciate all our hard work. We are sure you will not be in the dog house for too long.

  14. Oh Ranger you remind my Lee of her first Scot, Wee Robbie. Everything Lee planted the first summer he lived with her, Wee Robbie dug it up and brought it back and put it by the door.
Thanks for stopping by my blog

  16. Well Ranger, I am flummoxed! I don't understand your Moms thinkin'....then again, all my plants are in 'jail' cause I was 'pruning' them for her ~ she didn't appreciate that either. Peeps, they are a mystery Ranger.
    Hopes you gets out soon....
    Kisses,

  18. Ranger, you have to understand that humans have some very strange ideas about what constitutes landscaping. Wrigs knows you did a MOST AWESOME job on rearranging those plants. And good work getting your mom to spend more time out in the yard with you! Maybe your mom could get a big sandbox and make that your very own designated digging spot. Hope you get out of the doghouse soon, pal!

  19. Whoops!
We haven't been to the park today because of the rain and the big guy is a little restless. Hope he doesn't get any ideas from you about garden re-design or The Boss might not be quite so in love with him!!
'fraid we have a no dig zone too :-(
