In Training... again

Mom and I went to Rally class last night.   All I can say is that SHE needs a lot of practice.   There was only one other student in the class, Jade and her Mom, and they got just about everything right (show offs), so it was kinda obvious when Mom got it wrong.   I'm gonna have to make sure SHE works really hard this week so SHE does not embarrass me next week.

So I took her on a walk so we could practice.

Lets go Mom.
How about we practice some "Heel".
Now, while I was on my walk (this morning) and helping Mom practice our obedience commands, I saw two things tat I've never seen before.

#1   Have you seen one of these?

I got all excited and ran right over to introduce myself, but he didn't smell too good.

I guess he's not gonna be a new buddy for me to play with.  He doesn't have any fur and I think his legs are broke.

#2 A dog going golfing?

Mom told me that dogs are not allowed on the golf course.   Hummmmmm.   Either Mom was "wrong" or Goldie is a rule-breaker.

Did you see that?
Goldie rides around everywhere.  I don't get it.  If you ride,  ya miss smelling all those good scents on the ground.  Tat doesn't sound good to me.
I'd rather pull Mom around and make her practice her commands.

Chow for now,
                            Ranger (Mom's new little trainer)

  1. You have the right idea Ranger - it is ALWAYS the moms who need training and never us - cause we are super smart!

  3. They keep telling me to heel but I can't because I wasn't injured. They need a class in basic English. Maybe Mollie can teach Them the Queen's English.

  7. Maybe you should try a little cheese with her. Good luck, humans are so hard to train. Was Jade a border collie by any chance...everyone knows they show off.

    1. I thinkz she was an Irish Setter. I'll have to confirm that next week. She was older than me and I suspect she does not have ADD.

    1. Mom hates frankfurts and will not let them in the house, but I'm gonna try to change her mind. Are you all done training?

  11. Hi Ranger, I am Sasha, we have a lot of the same pals, so I was hoping we could be pals as well. I am so excited for the Valentines Dance. I met my sweet boyfriend Remington last year and Valentines was our first date. He has already asked me out this year. I am looking forward to some party time.

  12. Good luck with the training Ranger. Humans are very difficult to train so be prepared for some hardwork ahead - I've had mine for nearly a year and they still have a way to go!!

  13. Wrigs has us very well trained, especially when it comes to handing out treats. Maybe he could give you some pointers.
