Snoopervisor Ranger here, keepin an eye on everything. |
What's on the other side of my fence? Well, there used to be lots of trees dat had tree rats in them and sometimes I used to see a bunny on the ground. But there has been really BIG changes back there.
Big truck and men came and ripped up the trees and then another digging machine dug a trenches. I asked dem if they need my diggin expertise… but they didn't want help so I just watched dem and barked when they were doing it wrong.
Mom says that I will have lots to entertain me for probably the next 6 months. She says they are building a new house back there. Wow… a new house. Maybe the new house will have a dog. Now dat would be really cool…. a Fence Buddy.
There is one thing dat Mom is not happy about. From our living-room, we get to look at the Big Grey Box. Mom does not like IT so whenever we go for walkies over there, I lift my leg on it. Dat makes her happy and I like making Mom happy.
Dis is going to be very exciting for the next 6 months. I can't wait to see what new toys/trucks they bring next.
Wags,
Ranger (Snoopervisor in charge)
Oh yah, when they built our new garage, lots of cool trucks came so yah you have lots to snoopervise Ranger. I know you are up to the task!!

It's a big job… but I think I can do it.
DeleteHow exciting Ranger there will be plenty of action to bark at. Ha ha you keep peeing on that grey box. Have a marvellous Monday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
I hope all the noise doesn't cut into my naptime.
DeleteOh, we hate construction near us. It stirs up the ground and all the little creepies look for a new home (like ours). Scorpions included.
ReplyDeleteYikes !!!! Scorpions? OMD.
DeleteWags,
Ranger
Ranger, we hope your new neighbors will be nice, dog-loving people, and that they'll have a fun dog for you to play with! In the meantime, keep your eye on the situation over there. All those displaced tree rats might try to move into your yard.
ReplyDeleteSusan and Wrigs
I've beef'd up my yard patrol.
DeleteWell that is so inconsiderate - pulling down trees just so they can build a house and block your view - and what if the peeps that move in have a big old mean dog!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh No! Not a BIG Ol Dog. Dat would be really BAD.
DeleteWe will call you foreman Ranger. We think you should get paid for your work. Enjoy! Lee and Phod
ReplyDeleteYeah! I should get paid (in TREATS) for all my hard work. Do you think I should get me a hard-hat?
DeleteWows, that's gonna be lots of snoopervisin' there Ranger! I hopes the peeps are really cool with some cool pups to play with!
ReplyDeleteOh, and tell your Moms, at least the workers are usin' the Big Grey Box instead of the bushes...
Kisses,;
Ruby ♥
Hehehe… bushes.
DeleteI hope a girl dog doesn't move in..BOL xxooxxx
ReplyDeleteMollie and Alfie
You've got nothing to be jealous of sweetie.
DeleteXXooXX
A fence buddy would be cool!
ReplyDeleteYes. I think so too.
DeleteHope if they have a dog they clean up after it, not like our new neighbors that NEVER clean up after their dog that poops all along the fence line! UGHH !! you can't tell that it irritates us can you?

We know you'll make sure that house is constructed properly!
ReplyDeleteXXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
It might be a good idea to get ear plugs too. But we hope you get a fun fence buddy!

Looks like you will have plenty to keep you entertained in the coming months, Ranger. Better keep those workers in line to be sure the project finishes in time! And here's hoping you'll get a friendly fence buddy. Much love, The Scottie Mom.
ReplyDeleteGrrrrrr lots of strange things to bark at......you're so lucky.
ReplyDeleteAroo to you,
Sully
OH WOW!! A real life construction site for you to watch over! We hope you are keeping a sharp eye on them and making sure everything is done to code. The prospect of a fence buddy is super exciting!!
ReplyDeleteWally & Sammy
P.S. mom just loves your Scottie sign
Wow Ranger! we had big things dig up the vacant property next door too...they are't building yet ...so no grey box! but living in the bush..well the grey box is actually the name of the trees we have here hahahah so i guess the builders will be lifting a leg all over....that should get Doc really cheesed off!! i bet you can snoopervise them really well :) hugs Fozziemum xx
ReplyDeleteRanger it seems that you know just precisely what that big grey box is for if you lift that leg when you go by it! Tee Hee....as for all that noise and machinery and big hole in the ground next door I hope you get a fence buddy out of it - then it will ALLLL be worth it!! Too bad you lost your trees and tree rats though...maybe the new peeps will plant NEW trees and the tree rats will return!
ReplyDeleteKitty Hugs, sammy
Sounds like you are going to be busy doing lots of snoopervising
