The Critic

My Dogster said I am supposed to stay calm and chill out for a couple of days, while I recover from my little "procedure".   So…  Mom went to Walmart and bought me some dog & puppy DVDs from the $5 sale bin.

We snuggled up on the couch and watched the movies.

Puppies !!!!!!!    I just love puppies !!!!
Here are my pup reviews and paw ratings.

"The Retrievers" - lots of golden puppy action.  A pawsome family movie.

"Aussie & Ted's Great Adventure" - I really love'd the Aussie accent and his girl furfriend was beautiful, but it was slow and I got kinda sleepy watching it.

"Beethoven" - a real drool!   I bark'd my head off at the big clumsy dog.   We didn't even watch the whole movie.

"Marley & Me" - all about an Obedience School puppy drop-out.  Mom did not think Marley was a good role model for me.  I thought the humans in the movie were clueless.    Also… it has a sad ending.

After we watched the movies, Mom gave me some vanilla ice cream.
Yummmmmmmm.  Cold and yummy!

Ooops, I got some ice cream on my nose.
More please!

What movies do you recommend?

Chow for now.
Ranger (the movie critic)

  1. As you know I LOVE watching TV, but I haven't watched a movie yet, I'll have to see if I can talk to peeps into getting me some to watch. "The Retrievers" sounds like a good place to start!

  2. Bella watches TV all the time. She recommends anything with animals or quick action.

Vanilla ice cream....great! We like popcorn too.

    XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy

  3. Hi Ranger:

I might start out to watch one of my Mom's movies but I fall asleep within an instant and have a huge good nap! So I don't think movies are for me. Even if she reads to me from one of her books (have you ever heard of Windstun Church Hill) I fall asleep right away. Sounds like this Windstun guy is kind of a napper hisself. So there you have it, just shut your eyes like I do, and take a good nap. That will heal you up better than anything.
