Make Up Your Own Wacky Holiday

Arrrrrroooooooooo...... today is Make Up Your Own Wacky Holiday day!


Here is my Wacky Holiday:  Chasing Bubbles Day

I love playin wiff bubbles!

Bubbles, bubbles all around -
Both big and small ones to be found!

Chasing bubbles is a popping good time and dey are sooooooo beautiful.

I like to catch dem in my mouth.

Chomp... chomp!

It's all in the technique.

I like to reach up to get da top ones.

I like to Catch dem HIGH !

And I like to Catch dem LOW !

I like to catch dem everywhere.  It's just super FUN!   You should try your paw at it.

And now for some Bubble Giggles:

• Why did the bubbles cross the road?  Their Pop was waiting on the other side.
• What did the bubble say after meeting a pin?  I get your point.
• What did the bubble say to the North Wind?  Nothing, he was just blown away.
• What’s a bubbles favorite snack?  A pop-sicle.
• What did the bubble say to the kite?  Blowing my way?
• What did one bubble say to the other bubble?  My Pop is bigger than your pop.
• Why don’t bubbles go to the movies?  The pop corn always gets to them.
• Where do bubbles like to shop?  A mom and pop store.
• What do you call a train with bubble gum on it?  A chew-chew train.

New Furfriends

Last weekend, Aunty D's #2 son just got married in NY and Mom and Aunty D went up to the wedding wiffout me.    I don't understand why I didn't get to go to da wedding.   Da grooms and brides pup (Messy) was dar.   Messy is 1 yr old and is a Frenchie.

Anyways, Mom took me to Aunt Sue's house while she was gone.   Aunt Sue cares for little pups like me in her home and I get to play wiff other boarders.

When I got dar, only Java was dar.

Did I mention dat Aunt Sue has a really BIG TV and you know how much I love to watch da commercials on TV.

Dis is pawsome !!!!!

At first Java thought dat I was crazy but den I taught him to watch TV too.

Java is now a TV commercial junky, just like me.

Java is one cool dude but doesn't like to play chase.   He did showed me da ropes.

Ranger:  Is it really OK for us to be up here?
Java:  Yep.

Hummmm.... Miss Sue even has steps to get up on her bed.

Meet Paci!

My new buddy Paci.

Da next day Paci showed up.

Yippy....... Paci likes to play chase.

Paci and I burned up loads of calories and dog treats.

Catch me if you can Paci.

We were den da dynamic trio and had a grrrrrreat time.

On da last day dat I was dar, Cromwell showed up.   Mom went crazy over his name.

When Mom came to pick me up, I decided to snub her and I ran over to Miss Sue instead of Mom.

But den Cromwell made nice wiff Mom and so she started to give him loads of attention.

Well.... I had to put a stop to dat and told him off and moved him away from MY Mom.

I really had a good time and it is much better to hang out wiff Miss Sue dan at da kennel.

I can wait to go back and see Aunt Sue and all of her other boarders when Mom and Aunty D go to Nepal for 2 1/2 week for Aunty D's son's second wedding in Nepal (where da bride and her family live).   I just love making new furfriends.

Pees.... I haven't mastered da doggie door yet but maybe during my next stay I'll figure it out.

Dining Guide

YIKES..... I just saw on Facebooky an article regarding the Best Dog Food Reviews and Research and my food was on da bad list.   So I had Mom hop on Chewy.com to order me some of da BEST food for my dining pleasure.

Interesting.... dat I do have crystals in my urine sometimes and dat was a major complaint about my current BAD food.

I can't wait to chow down on some of my new BEST food.

I just thought dat I'd share dis article wiff y'all.

Talk Like A Pirate Day

Ahoy! ye Landlubbers!

Dis year I thought dat I'd share a few laughs wiff yee on "Talk Like A Pirate Day".

• Have you heard about the new pirate movie?.......... It’s rated AARRRRGGH!
• What kind of socks does a pirate wear? .......... Smelly AARRRRGGHyle socks!  All da better to snatch and race around da house wiff.
• Where do pirates keep their cookies?....... in his JAWWWWW!!!!  Nom, nom, nom.
• Where do pirates like to eat?  in da BARRRRRR of course!!!!
• Why are pirates the coolest?...... They just ARRRRRRRR!!!

 

And now a wee little groggy story: 

A pirate, named Blackbeard da Scot and his parrot, named Pepe (Kismet's scoundrel of a cousin), were adrift in a lifeboat following a dramatic escape from a valiant battle against the Rancid Squirrels of Virginia.

While rummaging through the boat's provisions, Blackbeard stumbled across an old lamp. Secretly hoping that a Genie would appear, he rubbed the lamp vigorously.  To his amazement a Genie came forth. 
Now, dis particular Genie, stated that he could only deliver one wish, not the standard three.  Without giving any thought to the matter, Blackbeard blurted out, "Make the entire ocean into rum!" 

The Genie clapped his hands with a deafening crash, and immediately the entire sea turned into the finest rum ever sampled by pirates.

Only the gentle lapping of rum on the hull broke the stillness as the two considered their circumstances.  Pepe looked disgustedly at Blackbeard and squawked:   "Now yee've done it!!    Now yaaa're gonna hav to pee in the boat."

Make a Hat Day

Yippy........  today is  "Make a Hat Day", so I headed out to my favorite stop.

Whata ya think?
Good Hat?

I got all sorts of supplies (including some black sheep fur) and den came home to make a hat.   Mom even got our her sewing machine and dis is what we came up wiff.   

Good thing dat I have pointy ears to help keep dis hat in place as it is a wee little bit top (hehehe) heavy.

Do I have to wear it all day?  This may slow me down and I don't want da bunnies to get da upper leg.

Special ALERT: Snow Freaks break out of boxes!

OMD!!!!!   I just saw on da talking screen dat dar has been a massive escape of boxed-up Snow Freaks for a moving van heading for Pen-sil-van-ya and dey are sliding around Blogville.   It's chaos!

I'm on da Job.   Let's roll.

I'd better mobilize All of our available Officers so we can chase down des slippery criminals.

Calling all Blogville Pawlice Force Officers.......   we have work to do!

Grab your fur dryers and let's gather up des rolly-polly felons.

Arty's found a Tree-Snow Freak!
Really?  Maybe the squirrels helped
dem escape.

Jr. Officer Dui is looking to de-stuff one.

Officer Easy's got three in tow.

Officer Sully and I just located a herd of Snow Freaks.
Let's get dem!

Holy Rolly-Polly...... now what do we do wiff all of dem?   I better check wiff my bosses.

Why do dey keep grinning at me?   It's creepy.

Sidebite (Blogville's Top Cop) consulted wiff Sarge (da Pawlice Commissioner) and dey came up wiff a pawsome idea.

We're sending dem All to California.   Why California?

Well ya might have heard dat dey have a biggie drought problem.

In da California sunny weather, dey will melt and we'll solve California's drought problem.    We're solving 2 problems wiff dis one solution.


I bet dat even Donald Trump hasn't come up wiff such a clever drought relief plan.    We dogs are just soooooooooooooo... SMART!

My job here is done.
Time for some donuts and a nap.

Ring around da Collar

According to da Wacky Holidays, today is "Sewing Machine Day".   So.... Mom decided to sew me up a brand New collar.

Ya see, she picked up dis how-to pattern for $2 at a sewing resale booth (like 87 weeks ago) and made me a brand spank'n new collar.    About time!

My old one was gettin all faded.

Look..... she even sew'd on My Name and Phone Number on da band (just in case my shiny tag ever gets lost).     I think I like it.   Dat sewing machine is OK.

Red creatures from da Ocean

I love it when Aunty D's son, Eric comes to visit me.   He is really cool and we always have fun together.

He took me on a walk on da beach and you'll never believe what we found.

It is a RED fishy of some kind and it just floated up on da beach in front of us.

Oh.... Eric says dat he knows what it is.
It's a RED Octopus!
Hummm... is James Bond here today?

I got it!  
You know da Scottie rules:  It's all MINE now.

Time to bury it so no one steals it.

You see... dar are a lot of beach bums here.   No... not Eric, he's not a bum.

Maybe I'll un-bury it later and play wiff it some more.   Sounds like a plan.
