No Socks Day

Did you know dat May 8th is "No Socks Day"?  Yep.. dat's right (see my  Wacky Holidays in May postie).

So today…. I'm gonna hide all of Mom's socks.
Just look at this nice pile of socks I got.
Now Mom will not be able to wear any socks today!

I'm King of the Sock pile!
Maybe I should get me a crown.

Hey Mom.
What's dat?   You wanta know what I'm doing with all your socks.

Didn't ya know????   It's No Socks Day today!
We're all going bare paws/feet today….. FUN…. don't ya think!   Lets go run barefoot/paws in the park!    I'll race ya.   Arrrrrrrrooooooo!

I lovs celebrating Wacky Holidays!

Wags,
Ranger (bare paws and lov'n it!)

Sometimes it's good to just hide one of each pair--they love that!

No sock day. Wonder who thought that up.

  2. Just don't hide them in the dryer.....they disappear when they go in there...they go in two by two and come out as one missing...totally weird. Everyday is a no sock day for mom...she a barefoot gal...doesn't even like shoes.

  6. No booties today! Actually, I only have to wear them in cold weather (such as we have here) because the cold aggravates my cracked paw disease which I've had forever. It was a brilliant stroke to have this day in May instead of January.

  9. Hey Ranger!
Wow, what a fun and definitely wacky holiday! I like the idea. Much safer and less creepy than "no-underwear" day. Less drafty too. BWAR HAR HAR I like your sock crown.

  19. Ranger, this is a brilliant idea - I've always had a thing for socks (liberating them from the closet, not wearing them!). Does this mean I have free range to go take them all from Her closet? BTW, your crown is very fetching!
