Trust Issues

Yep..... I admit it.   I have trust issues.

Dis past weekend, Alana and her Dad came to visit.   I love Alana, but I'm really not too sure of her Dad (Jim.... who is Mom and Aunty D's brother).

Now he has visited before, but I stay clear of him and just play wiff Alana, but dis time

 he was sneaky and grabbed me, gave me a cookie and made me snuggle on the couch wiff him.

Would you trust dis guy?

What's wiff da fingers above my head?

Well..... maybe he isn't too bad.
He does give me cookies and we all know dat I'll do just about anything for a cookie.

Maybe he'll be my new sleeping buddy.

HOT wiff a chance of VERY HOT

It's way tooooooooooo HOT outside.

Heat Index 100+ degrees.

Mom refuses to take me on walks.  She doesn't even take me for walkies in the early morning or at night because it is still too HOT den.    How can I do my neighborhood patrols?   And she only lets me go outside in my backyard for 5 mins at a time.   Grrrrrrrrrrrrr......

She says dat a little black dog like me should not be in the heat for long.

I know she is just trying to keep me safe and healthy but I'm getting bored being house bound.   We had dis same HOT weather last week.   Enough is enough !!!!   It's still June. We usually don't have heat waves like dis until August.

So...... I have to resort to looking out da front bedroom's window.

Oh look Mom.... da AC guys are back at the house across da street again.

Now... da other day, when I was on my neighborhood patrol, I came across a strange board.

Cheater.... cheater

So..... Mom and Aunty D went to NYC wiffout me.   I really didn't mind cuz I got to go to Doggie Camp and play wiff my furfriends.

BUT...... den I found out dat dey cheated on me while dey were away.    When Mom picked me up, I could smell another dog and see dog hairs on here.   Hey.... I'm a detective so I notice des things.   She should know better.

After I interrogated her, I found out that they played and hugged another dog.  AND.... when I saw pictures (da evidence), I saw dat she cheated on me wiff  Yota!

Can you believe it?     And..... she didn't even get me his autograph!    Grrrrrrrrrrr.

Peeees..... we had a really bad thunderstorm last week and it zapped our phone & internet lines while Mom and Aunty D were in NYC.   I got to visit with my friend in Dog Camp.   We finally got everythingy fixed so I can visit your bloggies again.   Yippy !!!!

• Krispy Kreme is also offering a free doughnut on June 5 (though, for some reason, not in Connecticut). It's a good thing dat I live in NC.
• Dunkin’ Donuts’, said in a statement. “We are proud to celebrate this timeless favorite on National Donut Day with our loyal guests by once again offering a free donut with the purchase of any beverage".   I wonder if dey serve Rubytinias?
