Kite Fest

Saturday morning, Mom took me to the Kite Festival on Wrightsville Beach, NC.

I love the feel of sand between my toes.
It is so soft and cushy.

We walked along the beach and I met some nice peeps and did some exploring on the sand.

What's this?
Hummmmm.. does it smell?

Mom says its a horseshoe crab shell.   I wonder where the rest of the horse is.
It is always fun exploring on the beach... I never know what I will find.

The water was kinda cold so Mom didn't want me to go in.   I did chase some birds that were right at the waters edges.   It was fun to watch them fly away.

At the far end of the beach I saw lots of people and bright colors that were flying in the air.
Arrrrrroooo.   Those are really big birds.
Mom says they are are not birds.   They are called Kites.  Look at how big some of these Kites are?   Pretty pawsome, don't you think?

Just another great day on the beach.
