Thanksgiving Walkies

I love cruisin.
I don't know about you, but I had a flippin grrrrrrreat Thanksgiving.

Aroooooooo..... I got to ride in the zoom-zoom car and we cruised to my favorite place for walkies.

Dis is my favorite place to go for walkies.

It's our tradition to go for a walk on da beach on Thanksgiving and dis year it was like 70 degrees out (perfect beach walking weather).
I saw lots of other dogs dat must have da same tradition and sniffed around for cool new smellables.    I even left some peemail and read some sand messages.
Hummmmm..... I wonder if dis was left by da Thanksgiving Turkey King.
It was my bestest Thanksgiving walkie ever.    I guess I should add to my Thankful List dat I am Thankful for Walks on da Beach.

Den we came home and I watched da National Dog show.   Now I know dat da Scottie didn't win dis year, but I still loved watching it.   You know dat I'm a TV junky.

And finally, I got to have a little turkey in my dinner.    Life is good.

I hope dat you had a grrrrrreat day too!

Pees..... since we're talking walkies, Mom wanted me to ask you if you wear a harness when you go on walkies.    Apparently I'm pulling a lot and she's looking to get me a harness.   She wants it to be an easy on and off type and I want it to be comfortable.
So... do you wear a harness and what would you recommend (make and brand)?

I Love da Fall

I love it when Mom comes out and plays wiff me in da yard.

I know she wants me to bring my flyer back to her so she can toss it again but I have other ideas.    I would rather she chase after me and try to snatch it away from me.
I love to see her run.   Hey... it's my job to keep Mom is good working order.
I also love:
  • running through the leaves as Aunty D holds da leave blowing machine and sprays dem all over da place.
  • da cooler weather cuz I can run faster and longer wiffout taking a break.
  • smelling da crisp clear air.
  • chasing squirrels as dey try to stock up on dar winter supplies.
  • bringing leaves into da house and watching Mom bend over and over and over to pick dem up.
  • dragging around fallen pine needles in my skirt.   Yes... I said skirt.   Dat's what all my long furs are called.   My buddy Stuart reminded me da other day:  "Us Scots are tough enough to rock a beard and a skirt".    (You are in my thoughts and prayer today Stuart.)
What do you love about da Fall?

                                                            Have a grrrrrrreat Fall Monday!

B&W Flashback Friday

It's been awhile since I did a flashback.

Here I am as a wee little laddie, stuffed in one of Mom's many camera bags.   Now you may wonder if I actually jumped in all by myself... well da answer is NO WAY!   Dat crazy lady stuffed me in it for da photo-opt.

I've sure learned a lot since den.   Now dat I'm all grown up, I don't let her do crazy things like dat anymore.   I say when and where we take photos.     Yep..... I'm da camera boss now.

What about you?   Does your peeps force you to take cute crazy pics?

My Vacay

On duty-watch at Aunty Sue's house.
Once a Cop, always a Cop.
As I mentioned yesterday, Mom and Aunty D were on a trip to Nepal and didn't take me along.

Instead, I got to stay wiff Aunty Sue and Uncle Ron.   Sue is my favorite petsitter and I get to stay at her house and play wiff da other dogs that were also on vacay.

Here are some of my new friends dat I got to sleep over wiff.
Sharing secrets.

Playing King of da couch.

One of my favorite things to do is playing wiff Uncle Ron.   Ya see... I usually just live wiff girls so male bonding time is loads of fun.
I'm gonna get you Uncle Ron!
Ooooopps......   Uncle Ron's got ME !!
He is a really good wrestler and gives good snuggles.
My BIG Surprise:  one day my BPPs Finn and Wally stopped by to visit wiff me.   I really blew my little mind when I saw dem at Aunty Sue's place.    We had a grrrrrreat visit.

I love dos guys.

My vacay was around Halloween and Uncle Ron decided to have me pose for his pumpkin.   What do you think?   Didn't he do a grrrrrrrrreat job!

Heads-up.... I'm coming in!
Oh, oh, oh..... did I mention dat I finally figured out how to work da doggie door.

Do you have a doggie door?   I think dat Mom should get me one (now dat I'm an expert at it).

I had a great vacay but am glad to be home.   Hey.... someone has to look after Mom and Aunty D.   Dey would be lost wiffout me.
