ISO-lympics!

Arrrrrrrroooooooo!   Today is da Downunder Daisy's ISO-lympics!

I entered da:

The Great Toilet Paper Roll Race 

Yep, they are still holding the Great Toilet Paper Roll Race.   Even wiff da shortage of supplies, they managed get enough rolls to hold dis historic event.   (Da organizers traded dog poop bags for rolls of TP.)   I'm going for da gold.

I got my roll and I'm ready for da race to start!

Checking out da competition.

OMD.... dat is Messi.  
He is famous for his paw-work.
Could be major competition.

Da whistle blew and da race was on!   

It was nose to nose for awhile and I really thought dat I would win (I do have a big nose), but Messi's pawsome paw-work won da day.

It was a good race and I came in second.
No worries, we all got to take home a roll TP for pawticipating.

We also even got some 
TP Cake to celebrate the day.

I'm exhausted from racing.

Pees..... don't tell anyone, butt I managed to snag some extra TP.   Mom is so proud of me.

Gator sighting

We had some excitement on Easter Sunday.   Mom got a text from a neighbor who lives further up the canal, dat they had spotted a Gator in da canal and it was heading down the canal (toward our backyard).  

We went outside to see if we could spot it and our neighbor across da canal said dat he saw it earlier as it headed up the canal.   Mom told him dat another neighbor (up canal) said it was heading back our way.
    
Other canal neighbors were also outside waiting to catch a glimpse of Mr. Gator.

Which way did dat Gator go?

Mom got her binoculars and eventually we saw him swim by.   It was all very exciting.

I guess Spring is Gator season.

Pees.... I'm so glad dat my yard is fenced in so I can appear brave.   We're supposed to get some severe weather today so I'll have to pretend to be brave again.   My job is never done.

OMD.... look what just arrived from Chewy?

MINE

It's a baby parrot.   And get this... when I bit down it talks.
What does it say you ask?   "Polly wanta cracker".    Best stuffie ever (or at least this week).

Hummmmmm.... I wonder if Polly is a distant relative of Kismet.

I'm thankful dat Chewy knew just want I wanted, wiffout me even knowing it AND dat I can hide under da dining room table so Mom can't take it away from me.

Wacky Holiday: Draw a Picture of a Bird Day

Dis postie is for a very special crazy feathered friend.

So, I put my front paw on a stamp pad and dis is what I drew.

Hummmmmm.... dat really doesn't look like my bird friend.   What to do now.

Oh, I know.   I'll get my assistant to help.   Mom's home all da time now, so I know she has lots of time to help me.  

Here is my second draft (wiff Mom's help).  Now you can surely figure out who it is.

Let's get Social

No.   I'm not in jail.
I'm Social Physical Distancing from da dog next door.

Pardon me from getting on my chewybox, but who made up the term "Social Distancing"?   Let's call it by it's real name.   It's Physical Distancing !!!!!!!

We can all still be social at a physical distance and dar are even tools to help us stay connected/social (e.g. FaceTime, Skype, emails, phone calls,  barks across da pond, blogging, etc.).   Bloghops are great too.

We all need to be social in these trying times and we need to keep in touch wiff all of our single friends and relatives dat may be feeling alone and isolated.

Let's show da peeps how it's done.

Now I'll get off my chewybox.

April Fools Day

Mom:  Ranger, do you want a carrot?

Full disclosure... I LOVE CARROTS.
 
Whenever I hear the carrot peeler start peeling carrots, I fly into the kitchen and wait for Mom or Aunty D to peel me off a piece/slice (or two or three).   Yummmmmmmm.

It's just my old carrot stuffie.

Just wait.... I'll get even when SHE least expect it.
