Holly Green Anole

Mom, Mom…… LOOKY, LOOKY !!!!!

What's dat?

Darn…. I can't get to it, even if I do my jumpy, jumpy thingy.

Its a Green Anole
I usually chase des guys around in my yard but I've never seen one in my window.   He's stuck between da screen and da window glass.   It seems like da screen had slipped down in one corner and dat's how he got in between da screen and da glass.   After Mom did some tappin on the window.. he slipped back out the hole and then Mom opened da window to slide and clip da screen back in place.

I guess da show is over. (sigh)

  11. Hahahaha! What fun! Our Jessy, who moved to Florida a couple years ago, sees these guys all the time. Once she got out of her car in a parking lot, and one jumped right onto her nose! Good thing she's not scared of them!

  14. That's exciting! Sometimes little lizards get on our screens at night, We think the light attracts them. At least that little one knew how to escape.

  18. Crikey ...... that's sure one pretty bloke!! My Mum loves critters. She'd have wanted to keep him as a pet. Me .....I'd have liked to play with him. Funny but when I play with blokes like that they end up lookin' real crook and then I EAT 'em.

  22. Those little lizards are pretty slick and can get in and out of anywhere. I sometimes find them in the house! Ma doesn't let me chase them inside though...she catches them and takes them back outside. Good find! I hope the show continues.

  23. Mom is not happy when lizards get into the house. It usually involves yelling and trying to catch them.
