Beware of a DOG WASH!

Let me tell you about my afternoon.   It started out with a ride in the zoom-zoom car.   I really like going for rides, but today…. not so much.  We were cruising along and then we got out of the car and entered a shop.   Mom says she loves this place.

Cool.. they have doggies in the window.   This could be fun.  

'O Puppy 'O Puppy... was I ever wrong.

To start out, the two ladies that work there decided that I needed a pedicure.  So they held me tight and took this shinny stick and ground down my nails.

Ok.   This may not be so bad.

Aroooooooooo!   I changed my mind.

Next, I was placed in this shinny tub and Mom got me all wet and soapy.

I like rain… but this is too much!

Can you tell that I am not enjoying this?

Finally Mom finished giving me a "bath" and then she moved me to another table and suddenly it got real loud and windy.

Wooooooooooooh…..   my fur is flying!

Well…. this is at least better than the bath.

Yippy!!!!    Finally all the loud wind stopped.

Everyone said that I look soooooooo Cute.   What do you think?  

I think, I'd rather be dirty.

We got back in the zoom-zoom car and made one more stop.   Now what?  

We stopped at the Dogster office and I got weighed.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrreat!   I'm a big boy now!

I have to nap for awhile.   Looking Cute is exhausting.

Dancing with Aunty D

I like to dance.

Aunty D, will you dance with me?

I just grab hold of Aunty D's legs and she slowly moves them side to side and I dance on my hind legs.   Pretty impressive, don't you think?  So far I only know the side step.

Hey Mom… instead of laughing and taking pictures...how about putting on some music for us.
Then I can dance to the music.

Maybe if I get really good I can be on "Dancing with the Stars".   I do have my Star Puppy certificate so I'm already a Star.  Now I just need to to learn some more steps.

Beach Pools

Yesterday I learned from my furfriends that it was National Dog Day.   So…. I told Mom and we celebrated with dinner and a walk on the beach.   Life is always better with a little bit of sandy fiber with your dinner.

I like running on the beach.

Here I am playin in a beach pool.

Mom says it is good to socialize, so I run up to everyone I meet at the beach.  Yesterday I met a guy that had writing and pictures all over his arms and on his chest.   He was pretty cool and played with me for awhile.   

I also barked at some children that we laughing and playing in the water.   I wanted them to come and play with me.. but they just ignored me.  Sigh….     

Then I chased some birds that were on the beach.   I really like chasing birds.      

Maybe with the help of my shadow, and if I am really quiet and fast, I'll catch one.  

It was a good evening  at the beach.  I can't wait to go back.

I have to rest up for my class tonight.
