FFHT - SNACKS

Today I'm participating in Stanley & Murphy's  “Fractured Fryday Hairy Tails”.
Since dis is also Flashback Friday… I'm sharing a tail (waggy, waggy) from when I was a young laddie.  I hope you enjoy my widdle tail.
__________________________

It was a chilly evening in March when Baby Finn came over to my house for a sleep-over.  Dis was his very 1st sleep-over.

Ranger…. here I am.
Can I come in?

I was very excited to seem him and raced to da door to let him in.

As soon as he came in da door, Mom grabbed him and gave him a biggy hug.

I jumped up and down to get Mom's attention.  Doesn't she understand da he is my friend and came to play wiff me?   She finally put him down so we could get dis sleepover started.
Yo Finn….. wanta play wiff ducky?
Now I must admit dat Baby Finn is fast and scrappy.   He can run tiny circles around me and slip down low to steal stuffies.   I'm think'n dat when he grows up we should recruit him for the Blogville soccer ball team.

Yikes… he's stole ducky.
High Paws Finny!
Just look at Finn's technique and focus.

After we raced around da house playin ducky, we grabbed a drink (or two).

Being da host, I let Finn drink first.  Yes…. I am a well mannered scot.   Mom taught me well.

Den we decided dat we were really hungry.  Ya see… duck racin, chasin, and snatchin really burns up a lot of carbs.

We raced to da big shiny food box and Finn scrounged around for foodables.
Finn:  Yippy... I see eggs.
Oh…...I know what we can have.

I can't believe I ate Finn's signature dish of Green Eggs and Ham.
Ughhh….

It was a great evening and (for da record) I didn't get sick from Finn's cookin.   Dat said… I think I've eaten my last green eggs.

Da next time, I'll supply all da snacks.  Maybe I'll serve up some Chewy snackables or ask Chef Sasha for some sleep-over snack idea.

Wags,
      Ranger

Pees….. Thank you Doods for hosting dis event.   Pop on over to dar bloggie to read all da other FFHT stories dat use da phrase "I can't believe I ate".

  7. It must have been St Pat's day for the green eggs. Either that, or they were leftover from the previous St. Pat's day.

  8. I am glad you had Finn over, he is such a cutie. I don't know about his cooking, next time I will be glad to send over some pizza or anything you want. I think you should keep Finn away from the kitchen. Just sayin.

  18. Ranger, you are very nice to share your toys and allow Finn to make green eggs. Chasin', snatchin', and duck racin' is such hard play that even green eggs sound yummy.
