Aroooooooooo. Look what I got from
Benny and Lily? It came all the way from California. Wow. Mom says she was born in California and it's a beautiful place.

Sigh…. it's dented. I hope my gift is not breakable. |
When the doorbell rang… I ran to the door. Mom opened the door and saw that the post lady had left me a package. She told me to Wait and then slowly opened the storm door. She said hello to the post lady and wished her a happy holiday and then she picked up my package. I got soooooooooooo excited that I slipped out the door, past Mom's legs, and took off to the street where the post lady had parked her car and was re-arranging more packages in the pack. Mom shouted RANGER STOP but I ignored her and ran right up to the post lady to say thank you for my very 1st Christmas package. She bent down to pet me and when I turned around Mom was there and snatched me up. The post lady said that I must be the one that the package is for, cuz my name is Ranger.
Mom brought me and the package inside and when her heart stopped racing, she let me take a look at it.

This is all for me? I am a lucky puppy! |
|
Can we open it NOW ????? |
What, I have to wait until Christmas to open my presents? Who made that rule? Santa?
What's with all the rules? Maybe Officer Bites can let me know what the penalty is for breaking this "Gotta wait for Christmas to open Presents" I just might have to break this rule but don't want to end up in doggie jail. I am still a little puppy and it could be scarry being in jail with all the rough and tough dogs. Any advice would be welcomed.

Maybe if I had STOPPED when Mom told me to, I'd be able to open my package.
I think she is still mad at me. |
I hope I did not just get on Santa's naughty list. That would be bad.
Wags,
Ranger (still waiting for Christmas)
You gots a pressie???? OMD! That indeed is SO exciting! I can't blame you for running after the postal lady to say thank you! Butts, you better not scare your Moms like that again...Moms can FREAK OUT abouts stuffs like that. Something about us getting hurts and stuffs.
ReplyDeleteAs for opening your gift before Christmas....I wouldn't chance it. Just think of how great it'll be when you DO open it!!
Kisses,
Ruby
Moms worry a lot but I still luvs her.
DeleteMaybe this whole Christmas pressie is really about teaching pups like me patience.
Wags,
Ranger
Ranger, Officer Bites here, OK, no jail time, but there could be a fine, you must wait until Christmas like all the good animals of Blogville. Beside Santa has informed me that he is watching for any one who opens their gifts early, now you don't want a lump of coal from Santa for doing wrong!!!
ReplyDeleteYour Pal
Officer Bites
Sigh. Ok…. I guess I'll have to wait.
DeleteThanks Officer Bites to keeping me on the straight and narrow.
Wags,
Ranger
Peeees. Hi to Susie.
Pressies in the post are the best! Best be on your best behavior and no peeking BOL!!
ReplyDeleteRA
I'll try, but it is gonna be hard.
DeleteWags,
Ranger
Oh, how exciting!!
ReplyDeleteMom put it under my tree. I'm going to check on it every day to make sure no-one snatches it.
DeleteWags,
Ranger
you are such a polite pup rushing out to thank the post lady personally. Sometimes the packages inside the parcel are wrapped, so you can open it to put under the tree and if there are more than one, you can open one. (No penalty)
ReplyDeleteXXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
Oh! That's good to know. I like the 'no penalty' deal.
DeleteWags,
Ranger
Thank goodness you ran after your package arrived, BOL...Those wait for Christmas rules stink
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
Hi Benny & Lily - I agree…. rules stink but I don't wanta get any coal in my stocking on Christmas.
DeleteWags,
Ranger
Does anyone know what language "Ranger stop" is from? I don't.
ReplyDeleteBOL. I went to school so I do know what that means…. I just didn't wanta.
DeleteWags,
Ranger
If you'da put the brakes on the minute your Mom said STOP, she would have given you a big hug and maybe even let you open the pressie.
ReplyDeleteLet this be a lesson to you, Big Guy!
Kisses,
Stella
I'll try to be a good boy next time.
DeleteWags,
Ranger
What a big package you got there Ranger - we bet it is just filled to the brim with all kinds of wonderful things...all just for YOU! You lucky pup! We can't wait to find out what Benny & Lily sent you.
ReplyDeleteWally & Sammy
I can hardly wait but Mom says I have to. Did you get a pressie?
DeleteWags,
Ranger
It's not often moms knows best but running out the front door is one of them.....it's hard when you just want to say thank you for to the post lady....but streets with traffic are a no no when you don't have a lead on and mom holding that lead. Now about that package....we are so with you. We think all us dogs with grinch moms who are making us wait for Christmas until we open them need to plan a co ordinated attack the presents day. Life is too short to wait we say!
ReplyDeleteWhat a grrrrrrrrrreat idea.
DeleteWags,
Ranger
Youz gotta wait!!! I love'z you Ranger and youz look sooooo andsome :) xx00xx
ReplyDeleteMollie and Alfie
Ok. I'll way (cuz youz wantz me to).
DeleteXXooXX and Wags,
Ranger
That's pretty exciting, Ranger! We can't imagine waiting all the way until Christmas to open your package--especially if you can smell treats in there! You wouldn't want them to go bad, now would you? We're a little worried about you dashing to the street, though. Be careful, buddy!
ReplyDeleteSusan and Wrigs
Hope you presents are worth all the excitement!
