A pressie for ME

Look what I spied.  A wee-little flower on one of our azalea's.  I thought dey only bloomed in the Spring and den again in the Fall.

Mom says it's a Christmas pressie from Mother Nature.   Wow…. my 1st Christmas pressie.   Yippy!    Thank you Mother Nature.

Oh…  I also got me another package dis weekend from my Santa Paws helper but Mom won't let me open it enough.   Every time I walk by it, I smell it.   I think there is some foodables in it.

So…. what's da deal about waiting to open your Christmas packages?   Do you have to wait?   I don't think this is fair.

And now for my card count (drumroll)..

ScoreCard
                                   Me: 48 (42 cards, 1 cool calendar card and 5 e-cards)
Peeps: 5  (BOL and they are so proud of dem)

    Wags,
            Ranger

  1. The flower is a beautiful gift. Phod would pee on it. We don't know what all the waiting is about. We live in the moment and don't plan for the future. We are sure the gift will be great when you do get to open it. Lee and Phod

  10. I always have to wait, Ranger! Conveniently, there are never presents under the tree for me or in my stocking BEFORE Christmas...probably because the one year I found all my gifts and opened them early. Then, the year after that I opened all the gifts under the tree before the holiday...I just love tearing up wrapping paper. BOL
    Happy Monday!

  16. Hi Ranger....well, like you, my Mom is torturing me with SEEING my big box from my Secret Santa instead of letting me see what's IN the box. It's not nice - whose rule is it that we can't open stuff until Christmas anyway? Certainly wasn't a kitty or a dog who made that rule....!!

  22. Hey Ranger!
Wow, what a pretty flower pressie! Reminds me of wonderful warm weather. Ahhhhhh. I totally agree that it's unfair to wait until Christmas, but I'm stuck with the same rotten rule. I'm sure it will be worth the wait, but it sure is hard to do!

  23. Wow what a great present from above. I know what's the deal with waiting to open our Christmas presents. I too have one that has smells . I love to stiff it and sometimes mom has to put it where I can't reach it....something about not trusting me to be alone with it.

    Aroo to you,
    Sully
