My New Job

Guess what?????    I have a new job!

Arrrroooooooooooooo !!

I did such an "Outstanding Job" guarding Santa's hats that Police Officer Bites recommended me and Police Chief Sarge has appointed me "Junior Police Officer and Assistant" of Blogville.

Since I am still only a puppy, I am not allowed to be on patrols or to carry any weapons, nor can I be on my own doing any Police Funtion (away from the station).   I do get to wear a shinny new badge.

Most of my duties will be at the Department Offices and will be assigned by The Police Chief Sarge and I will be Officer Bites assistant at "special" Ceremonies.
I am so excited about this new job.

At my swearing in, I had to repeat the following:

I, Ranger, promise to honor, serve and protect, to the best of my Puppy abilities the property and residents of Blogville.

Mom was so proud and said it was ok to swear (this time only).

When I am old enough (I have to be 2 yrs old), I get to go to The Blogville Departments' Police Academy for official training!   Then, if I pass my training, I can become a full time Blogville Police Officer (just like Officer Bites)!    Isn't that exciting!

Oh yes…. I almost forgot to tell you, that now Blogville has a hel-e-coper, I get to be Officer Bites co-pilot (eyes & ears) when we fly.

Flying will be sooooo pawsome.
I can't wait for my 1st adventure in the sky.

Thank you Police Chief Sarge and Officer Bites for this BIG HONOR.   I will try to do a very good job.

I'm gonna go outside now and chase me some sneaky and pesky squirrels.  It'll be good practice.. don't ya think?
